The Royal Mansour Hotel was commissioned by King Mohammed VI of Morocco five years ago, so it’s no exaggeration that the spa is a beauty oasis fit for a King. The treatments range from ancient holistic rituals using the finest organic ingredients, to the more advanced anti-ageing facials from Chanel, Sisley and Dr Hauschka. A full menu of luxurious treatments is also offered from Lenor Greyl in the hair salon.

If you’re in need some serious R&R, you can choose between a traditional Moroccan, hot stone or Thai massage. Alternatively, a soothing aromatherapy session might be what’s needed to help you drift off into a tranquil state.

The signature treatment of the spa is the Hammam. It’s a traditional cleansing and beauty ritual that starts with a combination of heat, fragranced steam, warm water, marocMaroc Hammam products and a cold plunge pool. As you lay on hot marble, your body is then purified with a Kessa mitt and black soap scrub. The Hammam is said to have numerous benefits including enhanced relaxation, reduced stress and anxiety, physical and emotional detoxification, nourished skin and hair, as well as an enhanced metabolism.

If you’re really treating yourself, the spa’s three private suites offer you your own private retreat that includes a Hammam, a plunge pool with a terrace, a hair dressing area and a relaxation area.

After treatments, guests are encouraged to visit the tea lounge to relax and enjoy a healthy meal, herbal tea and fresh juice.
