Super Vitamin A

Arguably the most successful skin care ingredient, there is no denying the advantages of using a potent Vitamin A formula. Vitamin A is in an overwhelming amount of skin care products but the thing you have to pay attention to is the concentration. Usually what you pay for is what you get, the only really effective Vitamin  A formulas are the high concentrations which are usually in your premium skin care ranges. The supermarket brands which list vitamin A as an ingredient usually don’t have enough in it to see visible results.
Vitamin A (retinol) is widely recommended by doctors and plastic surgeons for its skin renewing and anti ageing properties.
Essentially it stimulates new skin cells to grow, which leaves the skin resurfaced and refreshed. My skin is quite dry, so when  I use vitamin A it usually leaves the skin feeling a bit dry as the old skin cells are coming off it tends to get a bit flakey. This only lasts for the first fortnight or so and when your skin has adjusted and rid itself of the dead skin cells it reveals a  more even and less lined complexion.
Vitamin A is also known as retinol. It’s a powerful and highly active ingredient that can significantly improve prematurely aged skin.
