Style Stalker File; Sophie Turner

Despite never having seen a single episode of Game of Thrones, I’ve become a big fan of Sophie Turner through her endless red-carpet appearances and press junkets. The down-to-earth Brit and new ‘Mrs Jonas’ always delivers chic beauty looks and she isn’t afraid to try something new.

She has become known for her effortless makeup looks that can easily be translated for everyday wear by your average joe. Her makeup often focuses on highlighting her blue eyes by tight-lining with a dark eyeliner. She’s also no stranger to a dark smoky eye that plays perfectly with her fresh porcelain skin.

During her recent press tour promoting her X-Men film, many of Turners looks were inspired by ‘French Girl’ beauty looks with her hair tousled, skin fresh and an occasional red or wine-coloured lip interchanged with a bolder eye or pop of colour.

Talking to Allure magazine of her red-carpet beauty, she said “I see red carpets as an opportunity to act a little bit. It feels like a costume, like a character. It’s where I feel most comfortable, presenting a version of myself, but still being able to experiment and try out new things.”

On her days off Turner champions a bare face. She’s not afraid to be photographed without makeup and it’s probably because she has flawless skin. Her skincare routine is simple yet she says she enjoys taking care of her skin and is diligent in her routine. It consists of a micellar water cleanse followed by iS Clinical Cream cleanser. She then hydrates with Boscia’s Cactus Water moisturiser and finishes with Ole Henriksen’s Truth Serum.

But her biggest skincare secret is her diet. “Honestly, eating healthy is the main thing,” she says.

As for her hair, she effortlessly transitions between icy blonde locks and the red hair her GOT character has become famous for. The Wella ambassador credits Wellaplex for protecting her hair through the multiple hair colouring sessions required to get the fiery red hair of her on-screen character.

“I’m constantly changing my hair, dying it, colouring it, but Wellaplex keeps my hair really healthy and in good condition,” the actress told Vogue France.
