Shooting for GM2NY

GET ME TO NEW YORK is a gorgeous scarf label where travel meets style. I recently worked on their latest campaign with the beautiful kiwi model Ella. The label is inspired by New York the ultimate melting pot of culture, travel and style. Creator Rhamya hopes each design is thought of as a wearable piece of  art, and each design is born from a photograph.

Here are some steps to get this smokin look-

I used MAC studio fix liquid foundation NC25 on Ella’s skin.

Next I covered the entire face in Aves Cosmetics Illuminate powder. This gave the skin a beautiful dewey glow.

On the cheeks I used Aves Cosmetics blush in ‘Bronze Finch’

On the lips I used Clinique  lipstick in ‘Creamy Nude’ with a touch of Lanolips Golden Ointment on top.

I used a shimmery mid brown eyeshadow all over the upper eyelid and blended it up and over the socket line. On the lower lash-line I applied a thick dusting of a dark charcoal brown eyeshadow. I followed this with a black khol pencil along the lower lash-line and smudged it a little with a brush.

I didn’t have to do much to Ella’s hair, I applied lots of Evo Texture Spray and blow dried it in!

I used Illamasqua ‘Rare’ nail polish.
