06 Nov Setting Up Your Personal Beauty Space
This week one of my childhood dreams came to fruition, I created a beauty space fit for a princess in my own home.
Living in the Eastern suburbs of Sydney I’ve never really had the space for a beauty station at home, but with my recent move to an actual house (not an apartment- yay!) I finally have the space to set up a beauty room.
Now of course my beauty room had to be super organised because of the sheer amount of beauty products I own, I wanted it to look pretty but also be really functional as well.
I found THE most incredible lighted mirror, the Hollywood Pro Vanity Mirror from Etoile Collective. It’s a wide mirror with dimmable lights and power sockets for my hair dryer and straightener. It looks beautiful and really elevates the beauty room to a whole other level.
This mirror is the centrepiece of the whole room, but along with being beautiful it’s also really high quality and really functional too. It’s definitely money well spent!
I found Etoile Collective to be a really amazing site for getting my beauty room organised. They have so many great make-up storage options!
I bought a simple vanity table from IKEA to sit the mirror on, I chose one with a glass top so it’s easy to clean because no doubt there will be make-up spilt on it at some point. I also bought a matching small set of drawers from IKEA to store my hair tools, hair products, tan and body products in.
My beauty room definitely has a ‘glam’ theme going on, so whatever I sit on top of it has to look pretty! I chose to fill some glass jars with my new Zoeva gold brush sets and I placed all my fave perfumes onto a clear acrylic tray. A fresh bouquet of flowers adds a beautiful finishing touch!
I still have a few things from Etoile Collective on my wish list, more acrylic make-up holders and the Pro Artist Travel Case for my kit.
