Delicious Smoothie Recipes That Make It Easy To Stay Healthy Over Summer

Our diets and lifestyles can easily blow out of proportion during the silly season. With Christmas parties, Summer weddings and NYE events all thrown together in a matter of months, an extra glass of champagne or going seconds on canapes quickly adds up.

But it doesn’t have to be hard to stay in shape and keep your body looking and more importantly, feeling healthy. These are some of my favourite smoothie recipes that make it really easy to load up on nutrients when it warms up.

Coco Butter– This one makes it easy to skip dessert with its rich and nutty taste.

Ingredients

1 Banana

1 Scoop Vanilla Protein Powder

½ Teaspoon of Cinnamon

2 Dates

1 Teaspoon of Nut Butter

½ Cup of Coconut Milk

Ice

Method – Blend everything together in a blender adding extra water if you need to thin out the consistency.

Choc Full of Berries– I love this smoothie as a breakfast replacement as it’s sweet, tangy and really filling.

Ingredients

½ Avocado

¼ Cup Frozen Blueberries

¼ Cup Frozen Strawberries

½ Cup of Spinach

1 Scoop of Chocolate Protein Powder

1 Teaspoon of Maca Powder

Water and Ice

Method – Blend everything together in a blender adding as much water as you need to make it smooth.

The Hulk in Hawaii– A delicious blend of healthy greens topped with the sweetness of tropical fruits makes this one a winner!

Ingredients

½ Green Apple

1 Cup of Spinach

1 Cup of Kale

½ Cucumber

¼ Cup of Pineapple pieces

Coconut Water

Ice

Method – Blend everything together in a blender adding as much coconut water as you need to make it smooth.
