Wish Shoot with Model Tess

I worked on this shoot for WISH on friday with the gorgeous model Tess. The range was gorgeous, full of digital prints in bright colours and pastels. These images were shot by Thom Kerr who never fails in creating stunning images for his clients, no wonder Kimbra has him locked in to shoot her up coming album images.

To create the hair for this look I used a new product sent to me from Scunci- Its called ‘High Styles’ and is a clip you place in the top of the hair to give instant volume without back combing. With Tess’s hair flipped over to one side I didn’t want it to look flat on her scalp so using the ‘High Styles’ clip I placed it at the crown of her head and combed all her hair over it and it effortlessly gave her volume and height on top of her head. This little tool is a really simple solution to getting height in your hair, it only costs $9.95 and it saves you using heaps of product to keep it up! (available from Priceline and BIG W)- I did use a few Scuni hair pins at the back of the hair to secure it in the side swept style. I also used my Babliss Pro ceramic curling wand to add a few waves to the ends of Tess’s dead straight hair. I have no idea what I would do with out this tool, I use it ALL the time its amazing!

The make-up was fresh and simple. I use Clinique almost lipstick in ‘Tender Honey’ on the lips, which is a soft creamy lipstick with just a tint of colour. And to the eyes I applied a nice coat of brown shadow with lots of liner and mascara to both the top and bottom lash lines. I also added a bit of mascara to the eyebrows to create that ‘Brooke Sheilds-esque’ bushy brow!
