The Magic of Bio Remodelling Injections

Bio remodelling injections are gaining extreme popularity as a non-surgical way to rejuvenate and revitalize the skin. The treatment involves having a hyaluronic acid-based injectable put into the skin which boosts collagen and elastin, improves hydration and firms the skin from within.

It’s worth noting that bio remodelling injections are different from traditional dermal fillers like lip filler, and are also different from skin boosters. While all of these treatments involve the use of a hyaluronic based injectable, they work in different ways and produce different results. Dermal fillers are typically used to add volume to specific areas of the face, such as the cheeks, lips, or chin. Skin boosters, on the other hand, are used to hydrate and rejuvenate the skin from within.

Bio remodelling injections, while similar, work differently. Instead of hydrating the skin from within, or changing the shape of the face, they stimulate the body’s natural production of collagen and elastin. This leads to longer-lasting improvements in skin texture, firmness, and elasticity. Bio remodelling injections are often used to treat skin laxity, wrinkles, and other signs of aging.

It’s not just the positive word of mouth from those who have undergone the treatment that’s causing a stir; medical professionals are also recommending it to their patients which has led to a crazy increase in demand, and the bioremodller product often being sold out. Frequently clinics are having to wait for more to be manufactured before they can offer it to patients. The hype is due to the treatment’s natural-looking results, long-lasting effects, and minimal side effects.

This week I went in to Contour Clinics Newtown to have my first bio remodelling treatment Dr Josh Wall. There is a sting as the needle goes in, but you’ll be glad to know they only need to inject it in 5 places on each side of the face. I also had my neck treated too. Immediately afterward I had little lumps at each injection site for a few hours, you probably don’t want to head back to work or out for dinner after this treatment.

Immediately after the treatment.
A litttle bumpy and red.

In fact while the bumps subside after a few hours, I did wake up quite puffy around the eyes and cheeks the next morning. Again, you probably wouldn’t want to go to work, or out anywhere special if you looked like I did,  but I’m told swelling differs from one person to another, so it is very possible you won’t get any swelling at all.

24 hours after the treatment.
Very puffy under the eyes and cheeks.

To see the best results it’s recommended to have 2-3 treatments, I’ll be able to give a better idea of the results once I’ve completed my course of at least one additional treatment. For now however I’ve included some fantastic before and afters.
