Ultimate Hydration Boost

If you have dry skin like me,  you may occasionally feel like no matter how much moisturiser you put on, your skin just doesn’t hold it. I often get the dry crepey layer of  skin on top that just makes me feel yuk! In order to combat this skin dilemma I’ve decided I need to do a fortnightly deep exfoliation (to remove the dry dead skin cells on top) and use a hydrating mask. When it comes to masks there is an abundance of choices available to us, and it can be quite overwhelming. The first place I recommend to start is asking friends about what products they use, and  thats just what I did. I was pointed in the direction of this Dermalogica Skin Hydrating Mask. When you apply it to the skin it goes on as a clear gel, and after you leave it for the recommended 15 minutes alot of it has been absorbed into the skin. After I washed the remaining residue off my skin  it looked different… better. It looked as if the mask had actually plumped up my skin by extremely hydrating it. This meant my fine lines were also less visible, and I could see the effects for at least the next 24hrs. If you have dry skin and are looking for a little moisture boost, this mask will definitely leave you feeling hydrated and fresh. It would also be great after a hectic week or late night, for a little bit of DIY pampering. xx
