10 Sep NYFW beauty looks
‘Less is More’ Is the best way to describe the hottest beauty looks this season at NYFW. Bare, fresh radiant skin and sleek smooth wet textured hair have graced the runway over and over again with each show doing its own slight variation but essentially most have kept with the theme ‘Less is More’.
SO how do we perfect this seasons hottest look….? Here are my suggestions!
Try applying your foundation with a foundation brush. This will mean you can apply a very light coat of foundation in light feathery strokes and leave you with a lightweight, dewey finish similar to this look from Alexander Wang. This QVS foundation brush is a beautiful brush with the perfect bristles for foundation application.
At DVF SS15 the model wore a soft smoky eye with no eye liner just smudgy black eyeshadow and and some soft natural false lashes. The selection of lashes seen above are from UBU and QVS and are perfect for achieving this look. The UBU and QVS lashes have a very fine or invisible band and have soft natural looking lashes that leave you with a soft, sultry smoky eye.
At BCBC SS15 the models had very bare complexions with a sheer, radiant glow. Try using an angled blush brush like the above to dust illuminate over the cheekbones, lips, temples, brow bones and eyelids. My favourite angled brush is the one pictured above by UBU it makes application of powder to the angles of the face easy!
There were so many different nail creations at New York Fashion Week this year! Some were soft, nude pastels and some were more cute and quirky like the above look from Honor SS15. UBU have so many great little nail tools perfect for any type of manicure- clippers, files, scissors, and cuticle tools.
UBU is available from Kmart stores nationwide.
QVS is available from Target stores and selected pharmacies nationwide.
