15 Sep Fresh Faces of NYFW
This is the first instalment of my NYC editorial series. Starring the gorgeous Australian model and ‘fresh face’ Bianca Hepburn.

Shot in the Tribeca Grand Hotel NYC.
How I created this look…
I saturated the hair with Kerastase Luxurious volumising mousse then blow dried the hair section by section using the VS Sassoon Total Protection dryer until completely dry. I then applied Kerastase Multi Talented Styling Balm to each section, this helps give the style hold but great flexibility. Next I parted the hair on the side and used the VS Sassoon Deep Retro Glam Waver on each section to create a beautiful deep vintage wave ensuring to angle the front section slightly forward and over the face. When I had gone over each section with the waver from root to ends I gave each section a light spray with Kerastase Micro Mist Fixing Spray to ensure the waves had maximum hold.
Once Bianca was dressed, make up done and ready to shoot I loosened the waves by gently running my fingers through the hair- this gave the waves a softness and elegance. I then spritzed the hair with Kerastase Gloss Appeal Instant Shine to finish off the look and give the hair a beautiful shine.
First I applied Revlon Skinlights all over the face, neck, chest and decolletage using a foundation brush to give the skin a radiant glowing base. I then lightly applied Revlon Colorstay 24 hr foundation to the face also using a foundation brush. I wanted this look to be soft and have the kind of ‘hazy’ eye look that I have seen so often on the runway this season so I didnt use any eyeliner for this look at all. I first applied Shadowlinks eyeshadow in ‘Pearl’ to the entire upper and lower eyelid for a radiant pearly sheen. I then used a combination of ‘Satin’ and ‘Plum’ shadowinks to define the eye and socket line. I finished off the eye with a light coat of Revlon Bold Lacquer black Mascara. On the lips I used Revlon Moisture Satin lip colour in ‘London Posh 050’ for a nude and sligthly pink glossy sheen and on the nails I used Gel Envy polish in ‘Checkmate’ which is a pretty taupy nude.
