04 Feb Exclusive Editorial

In my latest editorial shoot I embraced a new ‘fashiony’ look and stepped away from my usual beach bum style. This look styled for me by Lindsay Rose-Wilkins combined a gorgeous couture gown by George Wu ATELIER  and jacket by OUT Incorporated . No matter what look I’m trying to achieve on either myself or my models good skin is ALWAYS the fundamental part of pulling it off. Having good skin means your make-up looks great and it gives you an inner confidence that makes you more comfortable in front of the camera.

SKIN

Prior to shooting this look I got stuck in to some great products from Dr. LeWinns. My daily regimen consisted of cleansing, toning, serum, moisturiser and eye cream to make sure my skin was clear, hydrated and radiant. The Dr. LeWinns Miracle Radiance Renewal Serum is simply to die for! It glides on beautifully when applied before or after moisturiser and it leaves your skin feeling dewy, plump and hydrated all day. I apply the serum along with Dr. LeWinns Private Formula Day Cream Moisturiser and Dr. LeWinns Private Formula Firming Eye Cream and I can’t help but feel like I’m taking part in a luxurious skin pampering ritual each morning.

MAKE-UP

I wanted to keep my foundation to a minimum in order to keep that natural radiant skin look, so I simply applied a light dusting of mineral powder foundation to even out my complexion but still look like my real skin, not a mask of make-up.

I used a cream concealer to conceal around my eyes and I applied a combination of two tonal brown eyeshadows to contour my eyes.

I also applied a coral blush to my cheeks and filled in my brows using a brown eyebrow pencil.

Next I applied a generous coat of volumising mascara and when this was dry I applied a bushy yet natural looking set of false lashes.

I finished off the look with a deep red lipstick.
